Algeria’s Muay Thai star Nabil Anane picked up the biggest victory of his career, defeating Brazilian counterpart Felipe Lobo.
The 20-year-old put in a dominant performance in a Bantamweight Muay Thai bout, capturing the win against the third-ranked Brazilian.
The towering Algerian used his height and reach advantage well from the opening bell, hitting leg and body kick combinations.
Anane kept the pressure on for the entire fight as he remained in control throughout all three rounds as he hunted for the finish.
With an impressive display, Anane earned himself a big win against an established star via unanimous decision, raising his ONE record to 4-1.
Anane’s win comes only four weeks after earning a contract with ONE Championship as he captured his third win in a row against Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai with a crushing knockout.
With his latest win, Anane showed a maturity well beyond his young age and proved that he belongs with the best Muay Thai stars in the world.
With this win, the two-time WBC Muay Thai champion and the youngest champion in the organization’s history raises his overall professional record to 37-5.
