Ahead of ONE Debut, Three Facts About Abdessamie Rhenimi
Morocco’s Abdessamie Rhenimi is set to debut at ONE Championship’s weekly fight series ONE Friday Fights this Friday, May 2.
Rhenimi will face Khunpon Or AudUdon in a strawweight Muay Thai contest inside Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium at ONE Friday Fights 106 which kicks off at 3:30 PM Mecca.
Before he debuts in ONE’s weekly fight series this Friday, we take a look at three facts about Rhenimi.
1. Fez Native, Morocco’s Champ
Rhenimi was born in 2006 and grew up in the region of Fez-Meknes where he showcased his passion and huge Muay Thai talents early, winning 15 regional titles in the city before winning U-23 (-57Kg) Moroccan Muay Thai championship.
2. A Clean Professional Record
18-year-old Rhenimi owns a clean 3-0 professional record. He moved to Thailand recently where he is proving his talents, displaying his aggressive style, finishing all of his opponents.
3. An Aggressive, Boxing-Heavy Style
Rhenimi employs an ultra-aggressive, attacking fighting style. He pushes forward, strikes with punches which cause his opponents to lose his balance. He then searches for gaps in his opponent’s defense and an opportunity to finish him via knockout.
