Dzhabir Dzhabrailov is looking to add another win and keep his overall record clean but is unafraid of losing ahead of his next bout this Saturday.
Turkey’s Dzhabrailov will face Nicolas Vigna in a lightweight MMA clash at ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 32 inside Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium in the morning hours of this Saturday, June 7.
Despite his young age, the 20-year-old fighter has shown maturity well beyond his years inside the ring where he boasts a perfect 5-0 record with a 100% finishing rate.
After two first-round finishes at ONE’s weekly fight series ONE Friday Fights, the Turkish is preparing to seize the moment and impress in his debut in the organization’s monthly fight series ONE Fight Nights.
With his opponent most recently losing his clean record on his promotional debut against American star Kade Ruotolo, Dzhabrailov insists he does not put too much emphasis on fight records, and believes the Argentinian might bounce back stronger.
“I don’t focus on my record or the zero in the defeats column. It’s just a number. A fighter’s level isn’t defined by that zero. Many fighters can benefit from losses and come back better. I’m not afraid to lose – but I also know that I want to win more than my opponent does,” Dzhabrailov said.
