Iran’s Mohammad Ali opened his ONE account with a much-deserved win against Thailand’s Nong Oh LaoLaneXang at ONE Championship show ONE Friday Fights 108.
Mohammad Ali and Nong Oh faced each other in a catchweight (59.9 Kg) Muay Thai contest inside Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, May 16.
After a slow first round, Ali took control of the second stanza using his boxing skills to unleash combinations. In a close third round, Ali struck with multiple left hooks while the Laotian fighter made a comeback that was not enough to save the matchup.
In the end, Ali earned a unanimous decision victory and raised his overall slate to 13-4.
