Majid Karimi Knocks Out Thailand’s Kaenpitak at ONE Friday Fights 108
Majid Karimi revived his ONE career with an excellent win over Thailand’s Kaenpitak NhongBangsai at ONE Friday Fights 108.
Karimi and Kaenpitak faced each other in a catchweight (55.3 Kg) Muay Thai clash inside Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, May 16.
The 28-year-old Iranian endured an early scare when Kaenpitak dropped him to the canvas with a left hook. However, Karimi survived and bounced back in the second round.
Searching for the knockout, Karimi pushed Kaenpitak with punches to the head and the body before finishing his Thai rival with a devastating liver shot at 2:19 of the second round.
With this win, Karimi raised his overall professional record to 9-3.
