Three Wins from Three Fights for Middle Eastern Athletes at ONE Friday Fights 108
All three Middle Eastern fighters who participated in ONE Championship show ONE Friday Fights 108 left Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium with memorable victories.
Turkish MMA athlete Ruslan Arslangereev and Iranian Muay Thai duo Mohammad Ali and Majid Karimi picked up three impressive wins in the latest installment of ONE Championship’s weekly fight series.
In the show’s opening bout, the debuting Arslangereev made quick work of Brazil’s Bismarck Gomes in a welterweight MMA clash by locking in a rear-naked choke and finishing the latter in 54 seconds via submission.
Next up, Iran’s Mohammad Ali also made a winning debut controlling the pace and landing big strikes against Thailand’s Nong Oh LaoLaneXang in a catchweight (59.9 Kg) Muay Thai contest. After dominating all three rounds of fighting, the Iranian was awarded a big victory via unanimous decision.
Finally, Karimi bounced back from two defeats with an emphatic second-round knockout win over Thailand’s Kaenpitak NhongBangsai.
