Alibeg Rasulov vs Maurice Abevi at ONE Fight Night 32
Undefeated Turkish star Alibeg Rasulov will face Switzerland’s Maurice Abevi in an exciting lightweight MMA bout at ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 32.
Rasulov hopes to keep his professional MMA record clean as he seeks to earn another world title shot against ONE Lightweight MMA world champion Christian Lee.
Most recently, the 32-year-old Turkish fighter’s world title bout against Lee was ruled as a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke by the titleholder that made the challenger unable to continue fighting.
Rasulov had showcased his top striking and wrestling abilities on his promotional debut in which he defeated former divisional champion Ok Rae Yoon, raising his overall record to 14-0.
In his next matchup, the Turkish fighter will collide with rising Swiss star Abevi, who is looking for his fourth consecutive win that would establish him as a serious future contender for the world title.
Abevi, who picked up two finishes in his last three wins, owns an overall professional MMA record of 9-1 with his only loss coming on his ONE debut at the hands of Turkish star Halil Amir.
