Russia’s Abdulla Dayakaev made a great comeback to score a stunning knockout victory against Thai star Saemapetch Fairtexat ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 31.
Dayakaev roared back to drop the former world title challenger Saemapetch in the second round of their bantamweight Muay Thai contest.
The 23-year-old Russian utilized his speed and counter-striking to dominate the first round, but was dropped with a straight left in the second round before retaliating with a knockdown of his own.
With the Thai veteran shaken, Dayakaev unleashed punches, knees, and elbows to finish his opponent at 1:44 of the second round.
With this victory, Dayakaev raised his overall professional record to 14-2.
