Roman Kryklia Expects Action Against Lyndon Knowles at ONE Fight Night 30
Two-sport, two-weight ONE world champion Roman Kryklia expects an action-packed bout against Lyndon Knowles at ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 30 in the morning hours of this Saturday, April 5.
Kryklia is set to defend his ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai world title against Knowles in the main event of ONE Fight Night 30 inside Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium.
“Expect action. I always give 100 percent in every fight. There’s always intensity, always drama — I don’t do boring fights,” Kryklia said.
The 33-year-old Ukrainian star, who owns a 6-0 record in ONE Championship, aims to enter the bout with multiple game plans and to showcase his wide range of skills, but is quick to show respect for his opponent and WBC Heavyweight Muay Thai world champion.
“He’s aggressive, experienced, and always moving forward — that’s his main strength. He also has a solid foundation in classic Thai boxing. As for me, I’ll be relying on my movement, speed, and cardio to create the edge,” Kryklia said.
“I expect things to stay technical, but I’m ready for a war. You can plan for one type of fight, and then it turns into a slugfest—that happens more often than you’d think. So, yeah, I’m ready for anything,” he added.
Kryklia and Knowles battle for the ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai world title at ONE Fight Night 30 which kicks off at 3:00 AM Mecca this Saturday, April 5. The show will be broadcast live via beIN SPORTS.
