Baatarkhuu Beats Pacatiw in Pivotal MMA Bantamweight Clash at ONE Fight Night 29

Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu picked up an impressive victory against Jeremy Pacatiw in an MMA Bantamweight clash between two of the division’s top contenders at ONE Championship event ONE Fight Night 29.

The fourth-ranked Mongolian showcased his grappling superiority as he dominated the fifth-ranked Pacatiw from start to finish.

Baatarkhuu dominated the first round starting the bout with an impressive spinning high kick to the head before taking the Filipino down, locking in an armbar attempt, and bloodying his opponent with elbows to the face.

Pacatiw kicked off the second round hoping to showcase his striking, but the Mongolian quickly took the fight to the ground again. The Filipino star avoided the rear naked choke attempt with good body positioning, but Baatarkhuu kept his ground control tight. Pacatiw showed resilience and almost locked in an armbar, but his Mongolian competitor managed to escape quickly, regaining top control from which he hit the Filipino with elbow strikes.

In the third round, both men traded strikes before Baatarkhuu dropped Pacatiw again to the ground and held the latter into position, attempting to lock in submission moves from the front and back. Despite The Tormentor’s total control, Pacatiw put in a determined performance to avoid a submission loss.

After 15 minutes of action, Baatarkhuu picked up his third win in a row via unanimous decision victory over Pacatiw, raising his ONE record to 6-1 and making a case for himself as a future world title contender.
