Roberto Soldic Wants ONE Welterweight MMA World Title Matchup
ONE Championship’s Croatian star Roberto Soldic believes that he is ready for a title shot for the ONE Welterweight MMA world championship.
Soldic picked up his first promotional victory against Dagi Arslanaliev, dropping the Turkish star via knockout at 1:55 of round one at ONE 171: Qatar on February 20.
The 30-year-old Croatian, who finally lived up to the hype as one of the world’s best knockout artists in his third ONE Championship bout, is already looking forward to a world title shot.
“I said it before, the future is mine. And when I step in the cage, I will be a big problem for anyone. I hope I fight for the title,” Soldic said.
Soldic had opened his ONE account with a disappointing debut ending in a no-contest before falling via KO in his second bout in May 2023.
After spending 20 months on the sidelines, Soldic returned with a big win in Qatar, showcasing his left hook’s knockout power.
