Dan Hooker recently shocked his fans by sharing an image of his arm after surgery.
‘The Hangaman’ picked up his second straight win at UFC 290 this past weekend in a grueling bout against Jalin Turner. After an intense exchange, Hooker triumphed by split decision. However, the fight took a toll on the 33-year-old New Zealander, who was left with a broken arm and a fractured face. The latter reveals the images of his scar.
Dan Hooker had to suffer
Asked about his arm immediately after the fight, Hooker was quick to downplay the severity of his injury, saying it was just a scratch. In his latest social media post, Dan Hooker showed off the aftereffects of having his fractured arm surgically repaired, and it looks like he suffered more than just a scratch.
Dan Hooker recently tweeted a photo of his post-op stitches in the hospital. Interestingly, Hooker’s wrist broke after Jalin Turner kicked during the first round of the fight.
While the 33-year-old Kiwi knew something was seriously wrong with his arm, he kept fighting through all three rounds. Dan Hooker is currently on a two-game winning streak. Before Jalin Turner, he defeated Claudio Puelles at UFC 281 by TKO in the second round. His professional record in MMA is 23-12.
