Ruslan Arslangereev Submits Bismarck Gomes in 54 Seconds
Türkiye MMA star Ruslan Arslangereev captured a memorable win in his ONE Championship debut against Brazil’s Bismarck Gomes.
Arslangereev and Gomes clashed in a welterweight MMA contest which was the opening bout in the ONE Friday Fights 108 card on Friday, May 16.
The 26-year-old Turkish athlete managed to submit BJJ specialist Bismark Gomes in the opening minute of the bout after clocking the latter with a stiff left cross and slamming him to the canvas.
Arslangereev launched a barrage of strikes from up top before taking Gomes’ back and slapping a tight rear-naked choke, cranking on the Brazilian’s neck to force the tap just 54 seconds into the first round.
With this win, Arslangereev raised his overall professional record to 4-0.
