After the match, Tyson, nicknamed &#8220;Iron Mike,&#8221; revealed the challenges that nearly cost him his life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;I lost half my blood&#8221; In an emotional message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Tyson shared the complicated medical conditions he faced last summer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;I don\u2019t regret stepping into the ring one last time. I nearly died in June. I had eight blood transfusions, lost half my blood, and 25 pounds in the hospital. I had to fight to regain my health to be able to compete, so I consider myself a winner. The fact that my children saw me hold on and complete eight rounds against a skilled boxer half my age, in front of a packed stadium, is an experience few can dream of. Thank you all,&#8221; wrote the New York native.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At 58, the legend Mike Tyson has nothing left to prove. Last Friday, he showed the world that he still has the spirit of a fighter, holding his own against a much younger opponent.
