Canadian wrestler and UFC fighter Georges St-Pierre said in a July 3 tweet that he had a “great training session” with mask, podcaster Lex Fridman, and martial artist John Danaher.<\/p>\n

Musk’s potential match with Zuckerberg came about through a bizarre chain of events, with it all starting when Musk joked on June 20 that he’d be “up for a cage match” with the jiu-jitsu-loving Zuckerberg to flatten their meat in the ring \u2014 despite being warned by a Twitter user that<\/span><\/span> The Meta founder has been looking fitter lately, according to businessinsider.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n

Then Zuckerberg responded to Musk’s challenge on June 21, writing three words in an Instagram Story: “Send me the location.”<\/span><\/span> Since then, Musk has made many jokes about his chances in the ring, writing on Twitter on June 21 that he has one “great move” called “The Walrus”. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

This move will simply involve Mask flopping onto his opponent and doing nothing else.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

In recent weeks, MMA fans have been dreaming of a possible cage fight between tech moguls Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, plus UFC legend Georges Saint-Pierre has given his thoughts on the prowess<\/span><\/span> battle of the CEO of Tesla.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As he makes his return to competitive grappling in December, legendary two-division UFC champion Georges Saint-Pierre was recently spotted training the tech billionaire in martial arts with<\/span><\/span> legendary jiu-jitsu trainer John Danaher, which made fans realize how serious Musk is about a possible fight.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For Georges Saint-Pierre, Elon Musk is serious<\/span><\/span> During a recent interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the former UFC welterweight champion revealed that the billionaire is much stronger than an average person:<\/span><\/span> \u201cHe is very strong, much stronger than the average man, and he is very resilient.<\/span><\/span> And obviously, historically speaking, Elon, when he puts his mind and his energy into something, he’s almost unstoppable.<\/span><\/span> \u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Georges St-Pierre added:<\/span><\/span> \u201cI let Elon know that if he needs me, I will be there to help him if he needs it.<\/span><\/span> \u00bb<\/span><\/span> Rumors of a potential fight began when Elon Musk made a snide remark about Meta’s new Twitter app, “Threads,” on Twitter, and went on to say he was ready to take on the Facebook founder in a<\/span><\/span> cage game.<\/span><\/span> Zuckerberg, who practices jiu-jitsu, launched the challenge by posting on Instagram Khabib Numagomedov’s iconic quote, “Send me the location,” along with a screenshot of the Tesla CEO’s tweet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Besides training with St-Pierre and Danaher, Musk also had a separate “impromptu training session” with Fridman, according to the podcaster’s tweet dated June 27. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Friedman’s tweet included photos of Musk practicing takedowns on the mat.<\/span><\/span> And all of this martial arts training on Musk’s part probably came in handy, given that Zuckerberg has won medals for competing in jiu-jitsu matches.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n

It’s unclear when this billionaire cage fight will happen, although Musk has suggested the “Vegas Octagon”, one of the best fight venues in the UFC, and the ancient Colosseum of Rome.<\/span><\/span> A representative for Georges St-Pierre did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
