Plazibat and Osaro were battling against the ropes in the final seconds of the round when the bell rang and Strijkert dove to separate the fighters, but he landed a late punch from Plazibat, which immediately knocked Strijkert to his knees. He is not the first referee to suffer this kind of action.<\/h5>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"x76ihet xwmqs3e x112ta8 xxxdfa6 x6ikm8r x10wlt62\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F100064662463499%2Fvideos%2F230687139725002%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560&amp;t=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Luckily, Strijkert was able to walk away relatively unscathed and GLORY officials brought in a new referee to finish the fight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the end, Osaro (25-2-1, 13 KOs) defeated friend and teammate Plazibat (22-5, 16 KOs) by fifth-round knockout to capture the interim heavyweight title from GLORY.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In combat sports referees are simply there to keep an eye on the action, but occasionally they can catch a stray punch.
